Lake Tyers Early Learning Centre and Kindergarten was established during the 1990’s and has provided childcare for over 20 years at Lake Tyers Aboriginal Trust. It is a 34 place long day care centre and funded sessional Kindergarten program, with dedicated educators delivering high quality education and care to the children of Lake Tyers Aboriginal Trust and surrounds.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Early Childhood Teacher to join our Early Years team in our 3 and 4 year old sessional Kindergarten program in our unique setting.

This position includes some travel on our bus to pick up and drop off children before and after kindergarten.

Award: VECTEA 2026

Salary: As per award

Time Fraction: .6 EFT (negotiable)

Essential requirements

- Bachelor of Early Childhood Education

- VIT Registration

- High level of understanding of the Victorian Early Years Learning Framework (VEYLF), National Quality Standards and Child Protected Standards





- Mandatory Reporting and National Child Safety Training

- First Aid Certificate (Education and Care Setting or equivalent) or willing to obtain

- Drivers Licence

- Applicants should be willing to obtain Bus Driver Accreditation and be part of the bus roster
