Salary: AUD 80,000 – AUD 85,000 per annum plus superannuation

ECT – The Hive Early Learning Centre Sunshine The Hive Early Learning Centre Sunshine is seeking a full-time Early Childhood Teacher to join our passionate and supportive team in Ardeer, Victoria.

This role involves delivering high-quality educational programs, fostering a nurturing and inclusive workplace, and supporting children’s learning and development in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).

Key Duties

- Provide high-quality care, supervision and education for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years
- Plan, implement and evaluate engaging, age-appropriate learning programs aligned with the EYLF
- Foster a nurturing, inclusive environment that supports children’s holistic development
- Facilitate transition-to-school programs and prepare transition reports within designated timeframes
- Assist with Kinder Funding applications and required documentation
- Organise and conduct parent information nights and maintain solid family engagement
- Observe, assess and document children’s learning and development
- Collaborate with families,



colleagues and external professionals to support positive outcomes for children
- Maintain a safe, stimulating and compliant learning environment in line with NQS and regulatory standards
- Contribute to continuous improvement, team planning and centre initiatives

Skills and Experience Required

- ACECQA-approved early childhood teaching qualification, such as a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood), Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education, or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience working in an early childhood education and care setting
- Strong knowledge of the EYLF, NQS and relevant regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and build strong relationships with families
- Organised, proactive and passionate about early childhood education

Mandatory Requirements

- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications
- Current Working with Children Check
- National Police Check (not more than 6 months old)
- Valid Australian working rights
- Any other checks or certifications required by law for the role
