- $35.34/hr (depending on qualifications and experience) + super + tax benefits
- Full Time Contract till 20th December 2027
- Work during school terms 8:15am - 3:51pm

About the Opportunity Uniting Preschool Caringbah is an integral part of our local community, teaching young children the crucial skill of learning that will ease their transition to ‘big school’, and far beyond.

Nestled in a quiet residential street, our warm and welcoming service operates during school terms and offers stimulating indoor and outdoor environments. Our programs are designed to inspire your child’s desire to learn, embracing purposeful play and group activities that encourage their curiosity, confidence, creativity and self-expression.

What you’ll be doing in this role

As an Advanced Certificate III Educator, you’ll provide quality education and care to children to help support and facilitate their learning outcomes in accordance with the National Quality Standards and learning framework!

Your care work may include:

- Contribute to the development of programs which reflect the approved learning framework.
- Developing positive and respectful relationships that support children, their families and community.
- Facilitating play-based learning environments that are responsive to children’s interest, strengths, and abilities.
- Documenting children’s learning through observations and assessments against learning outcomes

Who we’re looking for

- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education (essential) with experience in programming (required).
- A work history that demonstrates recording observations, writing learning stories and supporting the planning of a successful curriculum using the Early Years Learning Framework.
- Understand the National Quality Framework and EYLF
- Have the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, families and community members
