Are you a 3rd or 4th year Electrical Apprentice looking to take the next step in your career?

Plico Energy are looking for motivated and enthusiastic Electrical Apprentices to join our installations team, supporting residential solar and battery installations across the Perth Metro area.

This is a great prospect to gain hands-on experience in the renewable energy industry while continuing your electrical apprenticeship and learning from experienced solar and battery electricians.

At Plico, you won’t just be completing standard electrical work — you’ll be part of a team helping households transition to cleaner, smarter energy solutions.

About the Role

As an Electrical Apprentice with Plico, you’ll work as part of our installation team and support the safe, high-quality delivery of solar PV and battery systems.

You’ll gain practical, on-the-job experience while continuing your apprenticeship training and developing your skills in one of Australia’s fastest-growing industries.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Assisting with the installation, testing and maintenance of solar PV and battery systems

- Working alongside experienced solar and battery electricians to learn the trade

- Completing all required electrical apprenticeship training and coursework

- Maintaining a safe, clean and organised work environment

- Providing friendly and professional customer service to residential customers

- Developing your skills across solar, battery and renewable energy technology

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for apprentices who are reliable, safety-focused and genuinely interested in building a long-term career in the renewable energy industry.

To be successful, you’ll ideally have:





- Current enrolment as a 3rd or 4th year Electrical Apprentice, although 1st and 2nd year apprentices are also encouraged to apply
- A genuine interest in renewable energy and the electrical trade

- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills

- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety

- Good communication and customer service skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- A valid WA driver’s licence
- A current Working at Heights ticket

- Previous solar experience is highly advantageous
