The role

Our Sydney hub is growing. We are looking for an intermediate Electrical Engineer with strong technical design skills to deliver electrical services across a range of projects. You will work alongside some of the industry’s most respected professionals, producing high-quality design and documentation from concept through to construction. You will work across commercial, residential, retail, hospitality, seniors living and sports projects. What you will do

- Design and develop electrical systems for building services projects across multiple sectors.
- Deliver detailed design and documentation for all electrical elements, including power, lighting, communications and security, to scope expectations.
- Be involved across all project phases, from tender preparation and design delivery through to construction support.
- Carry out electrical calculations, load analysis, system modelling and return briefs.
- Engage with clients throughout the project lifecycle, including design meetings and site inspections.
- Take ownership of your technical deliverables, working to project timelines and budgets.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on varied engineering projects.
- Produce accurate, coordinated designs that meet codes, standards, project and quality requirements.
- Prepare detailed technical drawings, documentation, specifications and reports.
- Carry out site inspections and commissioning activities, and oversee project implementation.
- Liaise with clients, contractors and regulatory authorities.
- Mentor junior team members and support their professional development.
- Contribute to team development.




- Maintain and grow your technical knowledge in electrical engineering.

What you will bring

- 4+ years’ experience in electrical engineering, preferably in building services.
- Solid experience delivering electrical design and documentation from concept through to construction.
- A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and codes, including the National Construction Code and relevant Australian Standards.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to technical quality.
- Clear communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, BIM 360 and Microsoft Office, including OneDrive.
- Skilled registration, or eligibility for registration, preferred.
