About the Project The Kidston Pumped Storage Hydro Project is a 250 MW pumped hydro energy storage facility located in Kidston, Queensland. The project involves transforming two former gold-mine pits into upper and lower reservoirs, providing up to 2,000 MWh (8 hours) of dispatchable renewable energy.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Quality Lead to join our Kidston Pumped Storage Hydro Project team in Queensland.

In this key role, you will oversee electrical quality assurance and quality control activities, ensuring all electrical works are delivered in accordance with project specifications, industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Working closely with construction teams, subcontractors and project stakeholders, you will drive quality outcomes, manage compliance and support the successful completion and handover of electrical works across the project.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement electrical quality assurance and quality control systems to ensure compliance with project standards.
- Coordinate QA/QC activities across subcontractors, suppliers and construction teams.
- Manage defects, non-conformance reports (NCRs) and punch list closeout.
- Oversee electrical inspections, completions, walkdowns and handover documentation.
- Monitor quality performance, maintain compliance records and report on project outcomes.

What Will You Bring?
- Electrical licence with demonstrated QA/QC experience in construction.




- Experience working on large-scale infrastructure, energy or industrial projects.
- Strong understanding of electrical quality standards, compliance and inspection processes.
- Proven experience with completions, defect management and project handover.
- Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work a 2:1 FIFO roster from QLD, NSW or NT.
