About the role

Infradeploy maintains and builds the electrical infrastructure Sydney runs on: street lighting, smartpoles, sports field lighting, public switchboards and EV charging stations, for government and corporate clients.

We're looking for a licensed electrician to join our Sydney field crew, reporting to the Electrical Supervisor. You'll work on some of the city's most visible assets in live public environments, and you'll need to be protected, professional and able to get it right the first time.

This is a permanent role with a growing business, not another short-term contract.

What you'll be doing

- Maintaining, repairing and installing street lighting, smartpoles, public switchboards and EV charging stations
- Installing, upgrading to LED and maintaining sports field lighting, including floodlights, lighting controls and switchboards
- Responding to defect and fault callouts on government-managed assets
- Working safely around traffic, pedestrians, sporting facilities and occupied sites
- Completing SWMS, risk assessments, job sheets and permits accurately and on time
- Dealing professionally with council representatives, facility managers, site supervisors and the public
- Supporting the crew on installations and planned maintenance

About you

You're a reliable, safety focused electrician with field experience on commercial or infrastructure assets. You know that on a government job your conduct reflects the business. You work well in a crew, take direction,



and speak up when something doesn't look right.

Essential

- Current NSW Electrical Licence
- White Card and current driver's licence
- Solid hands-on experience in electrical installation and maintenance
- Sound knowledge of WHS obligations and safe work practices
- Reliable, punctual and professional

Highly regarded

- EWP licence: WP High Risk Work Licence (boom 11m and over)
- Experience with sports lighting, street lighting, smartpoles or public electrical infrastructure
- ASP Level 2 authorisation (current or previous)
- Traffic Control Certificate
- Working at heights or confined space certification
- Government or council contract experience
