Electricians – Mining Opportunities

7/7 Roster | FIFO & Residential | Mount Isa, QLD

ADG Group NQ is currently seeking qualified Electricians for opportunities within established mining operations in Mount Isa.

We're looking for reliable, safety-focused tradespeople with strong electrical knowledge, fault-finding abilities and a willingness to learn.

Mining or High Voltage (HV) experience would be highly regarded, but is not essential. We encourage qualified electricians from other industries to apply!

About the Role

Depending on your experience and operational requirements, duties may include:

- Electrical maintenance, inspections and repairs

- Fault finding, diagnostics and breakdown maintenance

- Preventative and scheduled maintenance

- Working with electrical equipment and associated infrastructure

- Assisting with HV equipment and systems where appropriately qualified and authorised

- Identifying and resolving electrical faults to minimise downtime

- Following site safety procedures and electrical standards

- Working collaboratively with maintenance and operational teams

What We're Looking For

- Relevant electrical trade qualifications

- Current QLD Electrical Work Licence

- Strong electrical maintenance and fault-finding skills

- Current QLD Manual driver's licence
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn





- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety

- Ability to complete pre-employment medicals and site onboarding requirements

Highly Regarded (Not Essential):

- Previous mining experience (underground or surface)

- High Voltage (HV) experience

- HV switching qualifications or authorisations

- Experience with heavy equipment or fixed plant maintenance
