Responsibilities

- Analyse market, operational and performance data to identify trends and opportunities
- Monitor key market outcomes and dispatch outcomes
- Prepare reports, dashboards and insights for internal and external stakeholders
- Investigate data anomalies and support issue resolution activities
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies
- Support market-facing activities through analysis and reporting
- Collaborate with a range of technical, commercial and operational stakeholders

- Strong background in energy market analytics in the NEM
- Energy markets, trading, operations or analytics
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
- Advanced Excel skills, Power BI, Python, SQL and confidence working with large datasets
- Ability to communicate findings clearly to a range of audiences
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to learning
- Comfortable managing priorities in a dynamic setting
