About the role

You'll be hands-on across our cloud environment, keeping it secure, reliable and efficient. You'll work closely with application teams and vendors to make that happen. You'll also help us explore how AI-enabled automation can improve the way we operate.

Please note that the role includes taking part in our on-call support rotation.

What you'll do

- Provide first- and second-level support for cloud issues, troubleshooting across our infrastructure and recommending new services and solutions

- Build and maintain cloud infrastructure as code with Terraform

- Help deliver cloud projects from design and cost analysis through to build

- Introduce and improve the automation tools, principles and processes that keep our platforms reliable

- Strengthen our core cloud capability, and build a knowledge base and community of practice around our chosen technologies

What you'll bring

- Demonstrated experience using Terraform to implement and maintain secure, reusable, version-controlled infrastructure

- Experience building, deploying and supporting workloads in AWS and/or Azure

- Competency in at least one programming or scripting language

- Experience with CI/CD tools, modern software development practices and IT change control processes

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills,



and clear written communication, including technical documentation

- A degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or relevant certifications (AWS and Azure certifications are highly regarded)

Great to have

- Observability, monitoring and incident management, including SRE practices and automated remediation
- Containers (Kubernetes, Docker, ECS)

- Building AI-enabled and agentic solutions that automate operational workflows

- Cloud security, governance and cost management

- Active Directory, EntraID, IAM and/or DNS experience

- ServiceNow, Jira and Agile approaches

- Experience in energy or financial trading environments with 24/7 mission-critical systems
