Qualifications & experience
- Current drivers licence
- Nationally accredited excavator ticket
- HRWL C2 or higher preferred
- White card
Tasks & responsibilities
- Safe trenching up to 7m deep for sewer and stormwater to grade with a pipe laser.
- Excavation of common trench (water, gas, power and comms)
- Excavation and installation of shoring boxes
- Digging around underground services and overhead power lines
- Digging in ground water and dewatering
- Craning pipes, manholes etc into place
- General earthworks
- Able to interpret plans
- Work well in a team and prepared to get out the machine to chain up and help out on odd occasions
