Due to continued company growth, an increasing workload and new projects coming on board, Central Earthworks + Civil is seeking experienced Concreters and Combo Operators to join our expanding team! Established in 2021, we are a locally owned and operated civil construction and earthmoving company based in Gladstone, delivering projects across Central, Western and Far North Queensland.

We specialise in civil earthworks, electrical excavation, general earthmoving, agricultural works, quarry supply and haulage. Our reputation is built on quality workmanship, reliable service and a hardworking team.

Positions Available

1. QUALIFIED / EXPERIENCED CONCRETERS We are seeking skilled concreters with proven civil construction experience, including:

- Concrete preparation, placement and finishing
- Formwork and reinforcement installation
- Civil concrete works, including footpaths, kerbing, slabs and associated infrastructure
- Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications




- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship

Relevant qualifications and demonstrated hands-on experience are essential. 2. EXPERIENCED COMBO OPERATORS

We are seeking capable operators with demonstrated experience operating multiple machines in a civil construction environment.

Applicants must have

- Current and appropriate truck licence
- Proven experience operating excavators and skid steers
- Experience operating truck, excavator and skid steer combinations
- Strong background in civil construction, excavation and earthworks
- Relevant machinery tickets and competencies
- Ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently

Essential Requirements – All Applicants

- Demonstrated experience in civil construction and the relevant position
- Current driver's licence
- Current Construction White Card
- Willingness and ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol testing
- Willingness and availability to travel and work away from home when required
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
