We are currently searching for an experienced grill cook who can hold it down under pressure in our busy little burrito kitchen. We're seeking someone who:
- Has solid experience in a high-pressure line cook position such as grill or stove
- Can work days or nights across Monday – Saturday
- Is punctual
- Can communicate well during service
- Can lead the kitchen team ensuring their sections are clean and organized, their prep is up to standard and they are producing quality food. This role does require a leader. Someone who can watch the kitchen team and ensure their working to a high standard.
- Can, at the end of service, oversee the clean down of the kitchen utilizing our checklists. This is a critical point. The kitchen leader must oversee the cleanliness of the kitchen at all times.
- Can communicate well with the Prep Production Manager regarding prep required for the coming days.
We need someone who is switched on, shows up to work on time and brings a positive energy to the team. We are seeking a leader who sees the entire kitchen as their own to manage and coordinate. Once trained up, this person will be the primary communication line between the kitchen and the General Manager.
