Experienced Rigger (Day and Night shifts) – Townsville Airport - Immediate Start

We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Rigger to join our team in Townsville Airport for works associated with specialised airport infrastructure projects.

About the Role

- Perform rigging and lifting activities safely and efficiently on site

- Assist with the lifting, positioning and installation of equipment and structures

- Select and inspect appropriate lifting and rigging equipment

- Work closely with crane operators, supervisors and other site personnel

- Inspect rigging equipment prior to use and report any defects

- Assist with general site and construction duties when required

- Participate in daily pre-starts, toolbox meetings and site safety activities

- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with WHS requirements, SWMS and site procedures

- Work within a secure operational airport workplace

What We’re Looking For

- Proven experience working as a Rigger

- Current High Risk Work Licence – Rigging (RB, RI or RA)

- Current White Card (Construction Induction)

- Experience working with cranes and lifting operations

- Sound knowledge of rigging equipment and safe lifting practices





- Ability to work day and night shifts as required

- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork

- Reliable, punctual and self-motivated

- Ability to follow site procedures and supervisor instructions

- Ability to pass background and criminal history checks, including a pre-employment medical test
