About the Role

This role is responsible for operating surface and downhole well logging equipment, rig hoists and pressure control equipment at the work location during surface and downhole well logging operations.

This position will be based at Moomba, SA

Key Responsibilities

· Obtains relevant service and job information and applies it effectively to plan and execute specific well logging operations

· Performs pre-job calculations as required, and rigs up and rigs down surface and downhole well logging equipment, including electric, nuclear, sonic and other well logging tools, as well as pressure control equipment (PCE)

· Operates PCE. Supervises Service Supervisors, Service Specialists, Service Operators, and Operator Assistants at the wellsite.

· Promotes safety awareness and environmental responsibility, and ensures compliance with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations

· Maintains, cleans and performs preventative maintenance on down-hole and surface well logging equipment.

· Communicates pre-job plans and on-the-job progress to the customer

Role Requirements

· Communication skills

· Proven ability to assemble tools and equipment independently

· Competent in operating electric voltage meters on well logging equipment

· Sound knowledge of rig and well logging equipment and tools, including the ability to dress well logging equipment and tools





· Non Commercial Driver’s license required

· 4+years’ experience as Service Supervisor LΠ

· Physical demand requirements for heavy work

· Successful completion of high school or similar education

Pay: $103,000.00 – $114,000.00 per year
