Role Overview

Seeking a trade-qualified Fabricator / Welder to join a manufacturing workshop producing industrial fans, blowers and heavy-duty ductwork for industrial and mining applications.

The role involves MIG welding and fabrication of components using carbon steel, Hardox and stainless steel, with material thicknesses ranging from 2.0mm to 6.0mm.

Experience fabricating ductwork components such as bends, elbows and transitions would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out MIG welding and fabrication of industrial components.
- Work with carbon steel, Hardox and stainless steel.
- Fabricate components using material thicknesses from 2.0mm to 6.0mm.
- Manufacture ductwork components, including bends, elbows and transitions.




- Maintain a high standard of weld quality and fabrication workmanship.
- Follow workshop procedures and maintain safe work practices.

Essential Requirements
- Trade-qualified Fabricator / Welder.
- Proven fabrication and MIG welding experience, ideally in heavy pipe and fitting manufacture.
- Experience welding carbon steel, Hardox and stainless steel.
- Ability to work with material thicknesses from 2.0mm to 6.0mm.
- Robust fabrication skills and attention to weld quality.
- Must be able to pass a visual weld test.
