Take ownership of a high-profile CBD retail asset with a major institutional property owner. An exciting opportunity to lead facilities operations, oversee significant capital works and play a key role in the next phase of this landmark retail destination. The Opportunity An established institutional property owner is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the operational performance of a prominent, multi-level retail asset in the heart of Adelaide's premier shopping precinct.

Anchored by a major department store the asset is entering a significant period of investment, refurbishment and development.

Reporting directly to the Centre Manager, you'll take ownership of the facilities function, balancing day-to-day operational management with major upcoming projects, financial performance and tenant relationships.

This is a hands-on leadership position offering genuine exposure to an exciting pipeline of capital works and development activity.

The Role

- Take ownership of all facilities and operational management across the asset.
- Manage centre budgets, P&Ls;, forecasting and controllable operating expenses.
- Lead cleaning, security and specialist contractor relationships.
- Oversee essential services, building compliance, maintenance and centre presentation.




- Coordinate major capital works, refurbishment projects and landlord works.
- Manage retailer fit-outs, tenancy delivery and operational readiness.
- Work closely with the Centre Manager, tenants, contractors and national facilities stakeholders.
- Drive operational efficiencies, cost control and continuous improvement.

About You You'll be an experienced Facilities Manager with a strong technical foundation, commercial mindset and the confidence to take ownership of a complex retail or commercial asset.

Ideally, you'll bring:

- Previous Facilities Management experience within shopping centres, retail property or large commercial assets.
- Robust financial acumen, including budget, P&L; and forecasting responsibilities.
- Technical knowledge across building services, essential services, compliance and maintenance.
- Experience managing contractors, cleaning and security operations.
- Exposure to capital works, refurbishments, tenancy fit-outs or major projects.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work autonomously.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and a genuine commitment to team culture.

Candidates from hotel, hospitality or other complex operational environments with strong technical and financial management experience will also be considered. Interested?
