Think Commercial is looking for a proactive, hands-on Facilities Manager to take ownership of maintenance operations across our diverse commercial property portfolio.
From leading a small team and managing contractors to coordinating maintenance and improving building operations, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference.

Key responsibilities
- Leading a small team delivering day-to-day cleaning, gardening and maintenance services
- Coordinating effective and timely responses to planned and unplanned maintenance
- Managing building operations to support efficient and cost-effective property management
- Developing and maintaining building condition reports and lifecycle maintenance plans
- Managing operating expenditure and assisting with budgeting processes
- Managing contractors, suppliers and service agreements
- Investigating maintenance issues and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
- Maintaining strong communication with tenants, contractors and internal stakeholders
- Developing and maintaining systems and procedures that support service delivery, safety and long-term sustainability
- Managing and contributing to the on-call roster to ensure reliable coverage and timely responses
About you
We're looking for someone who is organised, practical and comfortable taking ownership of facilities and maintenance requirements. You'll enjoy solving problems, working with different stakeholders and leading a team to deliver results.
- Minimum one year of experience in a similar facilities or maintenance role
- Technical knowledge and practical facilities experience will be highly regarded
- Strong organisational and computer skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good knowledge of safe work practices
- Confidence managing contractors and multiple maintenance priorities
- A proactive, solutions-focused and hands-on approach
- Valid Australian driver's licence
- Flexibility to work outside normal operating hours, including weekends, when required
- Ability to travel between locations when required
