Expression of Interest | FIFO Mining Opportunities | Australia-Wide Pilbara North West Hire Pty Ltd (PNWH) is seeking expressions of interest from experienced and trade-qualified Electricians, Mechanical Fitters and Boilermakers for immediate and upcoming mining and maintenance projects across Australia.

With opportunities across fixed plant maintenance, shutdowns and ongoing operations, we are looking for skilled, reliable and safety-focused tradespeople to join our growing workforce.

Current Opportunities

We are currently recruiting for the following positions:

- Mechanical Fitters
- Electricians
- Boilermakers / Welders

Immediate Northern Territory Opportunities We are seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters and Electricians for an upcoming fixed plant maintenance project in the Northern Territory.

Project details

- 2/2 FIFO roster
- 12-hour shifts
- Approximately 2–4 swings
- FIFO from Perth or Darwin
- Flights and accommodation provided
- Fixed plant maintenance experience essential

About the Roles

Electricians

- Electrical maintenance, troubleshooting and fault finding
- Fixed plant and industrial electrical systems
- Preventative and breakdown maintenance
- Instrumentation experience highly regarded
- NT Electrical Licence preferred for Northern Territory projects

Mechanical Fitters

- Fixed plant maintenance and repairs
- Conveyor systems, pulleys, bearings and roller replacements
- Pump rebuilds and preventative maintenance
- Hydraulic systems and mechanical fault finding
- EWP, forklift, telehandler and Franna tickets advantageous

Boilermakers / Welders

- Structural steel fabrication and repairs
- Fixed plant maintenance and shutdown works
- Welding, fabrication and equipment repairs
- Experience in mining and heavy industrial environments

What We're Looking For To be considered, applicants should possess:





- Australian-recognised trade qualifications
- Previous mining, shutdown or fixed plant maintenance experience
- Current Australian driver's licence
- Robust commitment to safety and compliance
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Willingness to complete site-specific inductions
- Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance, Drug & Alcohol Screen and Pre-Employment Medical
- Full Australian working rights
