About the role

Boretech Contracting is seeking an experienced and proactive Fleet & Plant Manager to oversee the management, maintenance and operational readiness of an extensive fleet of 250+ items of plant and equipment. Working closely with Metropolitan and FIFO Operations Managers, yard personnel and mechanics, you will play a key role in ensuring the fleet is maintained, compliant, efficiently utilised and available to meet project requirements across operations. Based out of the Head Office in Balcatta and spending time where needed at the yard in Lansdale.

Key responsibilities

- Liaise closely with Metropolitan and FIFO Operations Managers to coordinate plant and equipment requirements across projects

- Coordinate with yard personnel and mechanics to schedule servicing, preventative maintenance and repairs

- Oversee fleet maintenance programs to minimise downtime and maximise equipment reliability





- Monitor plant movements, equipment availability and utilisation across projects

- Manage breakdowns, repairs and external maintenance providers

- Maintain accurate plant registers, servicing records, inspections and compliance documentation

- Coordinate plant mobilisation and demobilisation between projects

- Monitor maintenance expenditure and identify opportunities to improve fleet efficiency and reduce operating costs

- Assist with fleet procurement, replacement planning and equipment upgrades

- Ensure plant and equipment meets relevant safety, operational and legislative requirements

- $140 - $155k plus superannuation depending on experience
