Foreman - Building Upgrade

Sydney | Immediate Start | 8 Month Contract

$75 - $85 / Hour

- 8-month contract on a building upgrade project

- Manage subcontractors, programme, safety and quality on site

- Immediate chance for an experienced Foreman

An experienced Foreman is required for an 8-month building upgrade project in Sydney.

This is a contract role suited to someone who can come onto site, take responsibility quickly and work closely with the Project Manager to keep the job moving.

The Company

Established in 2014, this NSW contractor delivers government, remedial, heritage, social housing and building upgrade projects across Sydney and NSW.

They have completed more than 120 projects with and have extensive experience working in live and occupied environments.

The Role

Working closely with the Project Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the site, including:

- Coordination of subcontractors and trades





- Maintaining the construction programme

- Site safety and inductions

- Quality control and defect management

- Coordination of deliveries and site logistics

- Liaising with the Project Manager and consultants

- Site documentation and reporting

- Managing works through to completion and handover

About You

- Trade background preferred

- Experience on building upgrades, refurbishment or remedial projects

- Strong subcontractor coordination skills

- Good understanding of WHS and quality requirements

- Reliable references

This is an 8-month contract position with an established contractor and an immediate start available. The contract may be extended for future works if agreeable by both parties.
