LONG-TERM COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION PROJECT – ROE STREET, PERTH CBD

FIFO Australia Personnel is currently seeking experienced and reliable Formwork Carpenters to join a major commercial construction project located on Roe Street in the heart of Perth's CBD.

We have multiple opportunities available for skilled Formwork Carpenters who are looking to secure long-term, consistent work with excellent hourly rates, generous allowances and plenty of hours each week.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a large-scale commercial construction project, working alongside experienced tradespeople on one of Perth's major developments.

With approximately 12 months of ongoing work available, this position is ideal for carpenters looking for stability, reliable weekly income and the prospect to work on a significant Perth CBD project.

WHAT'S ON OFFER

- $53.76 per hour base rate + penalty rates
- $5.12 per hour site allowance paid on applicable hours
- $58.88 per hour combined base rate and site allowance, before penalties
- $27 per day travel allowance
- $24 per day meal allowance for eligible 10-hour shifts
- Approximately 50 hours per week
- Monday to Friday roster – enjoy your weekends
- 12 months of consistent, ongoing work

THE ROLE As a Formwork Carpenter, you will be working on a large-scale commercial construction project,



assisting with the construction of structural concrete elements.

Your responsibilities may include

- Reading and interpreting construction drawings and formwork plans
- Setting out, measuring and assembling formwork structures
- Installing and dismantling commercial formwork systems
- Constructing formwork for concrete walls, columns, slabs and suspended decks
- Working with timber, plywood and proprietary formwork systems
- Ensuring all formwork is installed accurately and to required specifications
- Working closely with steel fixers, concreters and other trades
- Maintaining a safe, clean and productive work environment
- Completing tasks efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship

We are looking for carpenters who take pride in their work, understand the demands of commercial construction and can contribute positively to a busy and productive site.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR To be considered for this position, applicants must have:

- Proven experience as a Formwork Carpenter
- Previous experience working on commercial or large-scale construction projects
- Strong knowledge of commercial formwork systems and installation methods
- Construction White Card
- Scissor Lift Ticket (under 11m)
- Own carpentry tools
- Reliable transport and ability to travel to Perth CBD
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings




- Strong understanding of workplace health and safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent reliability, punctuality and work ethic
