Quality Hotel Robertson Gardens is a 138-room hotel on 10 acres of landscaped grounds with modern conference facilities, an on-site restaurant and recreational amenities. We are seeking enthusiastic, customer-focused and energetic Guest Service Agents to join our friendly and professional Front Office team!

Please note that this role will include regular Night Audit shifts every Friday and Saturday from 11:00pm to 7:00am, making flexibility and reliability essential.

About the Role

As a Guest Service Agent, you will be the face of our hotel and the first and last point of contact for our guests. You will play a key role in ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless, comfortable, and memorable stay.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage guest check-ins and check-outs with exuberance and warmth.
- Respond professionally to guest enquiries and requests via phone, email, website, and in person, whilst becoming comfortable to anticipate guest requirements (offering to take their luggage and transport them down to their accommodation for example).
- Process guest payments and maintain accurate billing records.
- Ensure guest profiles, reservations, company accounts, and room rates are updated correctly.
- Liaise effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, food and beverage, and other departments to ensure exceptional guest service.
- Identify opportunities to enhance the guest experience through the promotion of hotel facilities,



accommodation upgrades, and additional services.
- Safely operate the hotel's minibus for scheduled guest transfers to and from transport hubs, events, and other destinations.

What We're Looking For - Essential Requirements:

- Outstanding customer service skills and a genuine passion for helping people.
- Strong communication skills, both face-to-face and over the phone.
- Excellent organisational, administrative, and time-management abilities.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Current and valid Australian Driver's Licence.
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including days, nights, weekends, public holidays, and rotating Night Audit shifts. If you are open to working mostly overnights, you will have a higher chance!
- Full working rights in Australia. (Please note that Quality Hotel Robertson Gardens is unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position. Applicants must have unrestricted working rights in Australia.)

Desirable Skills

- Experience using MEWS Property Management System and POS systems.
- Previous experience in Front Office, Reception, Reservations, or a similar customer service role, preferably within hospitality.
- Previous Night Audit experience within a hotel setting.
