/n About the opportunity/n
/n Our client is looking for a Full Stack Developer to join a delivery team building modern, cloud-native applications on AWS. This is genuine end-to-end work: you will move between React front-ends, Python services, API and event-driven integration, and the CDK code that stands it all up, rather than being boxed into one layer./n
/n
/n The platform is serverless and event-driven, with a strong focus on security, resilience and observability. You will work independently while collaborating closely with technical leads and architects, and your input will shape design decisions, not just implement them./n
/n The role/n
/n /n
- Build and maintain React and TypeScript web applications, including role-based business workflows
/n
- Design and integrate REST APIs using OpenAPI, plus asynchronous event-driven integrations
/n
- Build and maintain infrastructure in AWS CDK and contribute to CI/CD, testing and security practices
/n
- Take part in code reviews, solution design and knowledge transfer to the team
/n What you'll bring/n
/n /n
- 5+ years software development, with 2+ years building on AWS
/n
- Strong React and TypeScript, with modern CSS and component libraries
/n
- Python backend development on Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge, SQS/SNS, DynamoDB and Aurora PostgreSQL
/n
- Contract-first API design (OpenAPI) and OAuth 2.0, OIDC and JWT authentication
/n
- AWS CDK and GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD, with automated testing built in
/n Culture/n
/n /n
- Agile delivery team working alongside technical leads, architects and delivery teams
/n
- Autonomy to work independently, with a cooperative design and code review culture
/n
- Documentation and knowledge sharing are part of the job, not an afterthought
