Business Review Group (BRG) is seeking expressions of interest from experienced Full Stack Developers for current and upcoming opportunities.

We are interested in connecting with developers who have strong .NET and JavaScript experience and enjoy building, improving and supporting up-to-date applications.

BRG is a veteran-owned Australian consultancy supporting Defence and Federal Government since 1999. We work with technical professionals across software development, ICT, cyber security and engineering.

The opportunities

We welcome CVs from experienced developers and senior technical professionals with backgrounds in application development, integration, modernisation and ongoing software support.

Depending on the opportunity and your experience, responsibilities may include:

- Developing and maintaining front-end applications, backend services and APIs.
- Designing secure, scalable and maintainable software solutions.
- Building integrations between applications, databases and enterprise systems.
- Delivering new functionality, resolving defects and improving application performance.
- Modernising existing applications, upgrading frameworks and refactoring code.
- Developing automated tests and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
- Participating in code reviews, technical planning and Agile delivery.
- Working with business analysts, architects, testers and stakeholders to translate requirements into practical solutions.

Senior developers may also provide technical direction, contribute to architecture and design decisions, mentor team members and improve development standards and practices.

Skills and experience





We would especially like to hear from candidates with experience across a combination of:

- .NET development, backend services and application frameworks.
- JavaScript and front-end development, using Angular, React, Vue or Svelte.
- SQL and relational databases, including data modelling, integration and query development.
- API design and integration between applications and services.
- DevOps and CI/CD, including source control, branching, automated builds and deployments.
- Software testing, including unit, integration and automated testing.
- Agile delivery, including Scrum and collaborative development practices.
- Application modernisation, migration, framework upgrades or functionality enhancements.
- Secure development, vulnerability remediation and application hardening.

Strong communication, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills are also strongly valued.

We welcome developers with experience across the full stack, including those with greater depth in either front-end or backend development. Senior applicants should demonstrate technical leadership and experience guiding complex software delivery.

Experience in Defence, Federal Government, enterprise systems, data platforms or other complex environments would be highly advantageous.
