We are hiring for our vibrant Feedwell café in the CBD, known for fresh, wholesome food, a rapid-growing wellness bar, and quality coffee.

What The Role Looks Like

We operate as a tight-knit, collaborative team where everyone is an all-rounder. While coffee quality is critical, you won't just be standing behind the machine all day.

Your day-to-day includes:

- Dialing in & extraction: Confidently adjusting grinders, dialing in daily, and troubleshooting machine or grind issues on the fly (more than just basic barista knowledge).
- Speed & consistency: Pouring clean, consistent latte art at speed during defined CBD peak rushes.
- All-rounder floor support: Stepping off the machine seamlessly between peaks to serve customers at the register, run food, prep items, restock, and keep the space spotless.
- Service & energy: Engaging CBD regulars with genuine warmth, speed, and professionalism.

You understand the rhythm of a fast-paced CBD café and don't get flustered during a rush.
- Technical coffee capability: You know your extraction variables, understand grinder burrs and dosage adjustments, and take pride in resolving workflow or brew inconsistencies independently.
- A true team mindset: You have zero ego about doing dishes, clearing tables, or helping the kitchen/FOH team when orders clear.
- Reliability: You value predictable hours, show up on time, and take pride in a clean, sharp workstation.
