About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker to join our team. The role involves manufacturing, assembling, finishing and installing cabinetry and custom fittings, with a focus on quality workmanship, precision and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

· Interpreting drawings and specifications to determine job requirements and measurements.

· Operating machinery and tools.

· Manufacturing cabinets, joinery items and custom furniture in accordance with plans and specifications.

· Assembling cabinetry and furniture components into finished products ready for installation.

· Fitting hardware such as hinges, locks, drawers, shelves and catches.

Key Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need:





· A relevant qualification in cabinet making or a related trade, such as an AQF Certificate III with at least two years of on-the-job training, or an AQF Certificate IV. At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed.

· Proven experience of at least 1 year in a cabinet making or related role, preferably within a similar industry.

· Fluent in English.
