The Company:

Malatesta Road Paving & Hot Mix is a South West regional company, based in Bunbury, that has been providing services for civil contracting, state and local government and the local community for nearly 50 years.

The Position:

We currently have an opportunity for a Gatehouse Officer / Groundskeeper to start immediately. This is a permanent full time role, Monday to Friday work, on an hourly rate with penalties. Responsibilities include;

- Recording vehicle movements on and off site

- Recording green waste intake

- Basic customer service - assisting with the sale of mulches, aggregates, and bituminous products

- Mowing, watering and maintaining lawns and gardens

Essential Criteria:

The successful candidates must have:

- White/Blue Card

- C-Class Drivers Licence

- Solid work ethic





- Physically fit

- Punctual and reliable

It would be advantageous to have:
- Previous experience in the asphalt/bituminous surfacing industry

- Previous experience operating heavy machinery

- Previous experience in landscaping or lawnmowing operations

- Basic cash handling skills

The pre-employment check involves obtaining a a drug and alcohol screening.
