About the role
We’re looking for a qualified General Plumber / Gas Fitter to carry out plumbing maintenance, gas safety checks, appliance servicing and rectification works across rental properties.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can confidently diagnose faults, work independently and communicate professionally with tenants, property managers and our office team.
What you’ll be doing
- Completing gas safety checks and associated plumbing inspections at rental properties.
- Servicing gas appliances and carrying out carbon monoxide testing.
- Diagnosing faults and completing plumbing and gas rectification works.
- Installing, maintaining and repairing gas, water, drainage and sewerage systems within your qualifications.
- Completing work to applicable standards, regulations and safety requirements.
- Recording clear job notes, photos, test results and compliance documentation.
- Keeping tenants,
property managers and the office informed of findings and required repairs.
What we’re looking for
- Current Victorian plumbing registration or licence, with relevant gas fitting qualifications.
- Relevant qualifications and authorisations for the gas appliance servicing work you undertake.
- Experience in general plumbing maintenance, gas safety checks and rectification works.
- A sound understanding of rental property compliance requirements and relevant standards.
- Strong fault-finding skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to manage your workload and work independently.
- A reliable, professional approach and pride in your workmanship.
- A current Australian driver’s licence.
