The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and highly connected executive to lead our SA/WA/NT portfolio as General Manager, Operations, reporting directly to our Chief Operating Officer.

This is more than an operational leadership role.

You'll be responsible for leading a significant and diverse regional business, building enduring relationships with councils, partners and stakeholders, identifying opportunities for growth, and representing Belgravia as a trusted industry leader across the market.

You'll be equally comfortable reviewing portfolio performance, presenting to a Council CEO, speaking with local media, negotiating commercial outcomes, and inspiring teams to deliver exceptional experiences in their communities.

You will play a key role in shaping the future growth of Belgravia throughout Western Australia, South Australia and the Northern Territory.

What You Will Lead

- A geographically dispersed portfolio spanning aquatics, leisure, tourism, wellness and community recreation.

- A team of high-performing Business Operations Managers and venue leaders.

- Strategic execution that converts plans into measurable performance,



NPS uplift and market share growth.

- Deliver sustainable growth across the portfolio — scaling performance, capability and community impact as we enter our next phase of expansion.

- Strategic stakeholder partnerships with councils, government agencies and community organisations.

Key Responsibilities

- Champion Belgravia's purpose, values and strategic objectives across the portfolio.

- Build and maintain trusted executive-level relationships with councils, government bodies, community stakeholders and industry partners.

- Act as a visible ambassador for Belgravia within the market and broader leisure sector.

- Represent the organisation confidently at industry events, forums, presentations and media opportunities.

- Drive sustainable revenue growth, profitability and operational performance across the portfolio.

- Identify, influence and support new business opportunities, tenders and strategic partnerships.

- Lead, develop and inspire high-performing leaders who consistently deliver results.

- Ensure excellence in safety, governance, risk management and compliance.

- Use data and insights to drive decision-making and communicate performance outcomes to executive stakeholders.

- Deliver localised outcomes that reflect the unique needs of each community we serve.

About You

You are an accomplished executive leader who combines commercial acumen with strong people leadership and stakeholder influence.

Ideally, you'll bring:

- Significant senior leadership experience in multisite operations, leisure, sport, tourism, hospitality, community services or other service-based industries.





- A well-established professional network and demonstrated ability to build long-term strategic relationships.

- Experience engaging with councils, government bodies, boards, industry associations and senior stakeholders.

- Strong commercial capability with responsibility for substantial P&L; portfolios.

- Confidence as a public representative and media-facing spokesperson.

- Proven success leading growth, business improvement and organisational transformation.

- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence across all levels.

- A track record of developing high-performing leaders and creating succession pipelines.

Location & Travel

This role can be based in either Western Australia or South Australia, with regular travel throughout the portfolio and periodic interstate travel.
