We are seeking an experienced and motivated General Manager to oversee the daily operations of the business, lead our hospitality team and drive continued growth and profitability.

This is a full-time position offering an opportunity to take ownership of an established hospitality venue and play an important role in its ongoing success.

Key Responsibilities The General Manager will be responsible for the overall management and performance of the café, including:

- Managing and overseeing all daily café operations.
- Recruiting, training, supervising and developing staff.
- Preparing staff rosters and managing labour costs.
- Monitoring food costs, stock levels, inventory and supplier relationships.
- Managing budgets, sales targets and financial performance.
- Driving revenue, profitability and operational efficiency.
- Maintaining food quality, presentation and customer service standards.
- Implementing operational procedures and improving business systems.
- Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety and food safety requirements.
- Managing customer feedback and resolving operational issues.
- Leading and maintaining a positive, professional team culture.
- Working with ownership on business development, marketing and future growth opportunities.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience The successful applicant must demonstrate:

- A minimum of 12 months’ work experience in a similar hospitality management role.
- A diploma qualification in hospitality management, business management or a relevant field, OR at least three years of relevant work experience in hospitality management.
- Strong leadership and staff management capabilities.
- Demonstrated understanding of hospitality operations and financial management.




- Experience managing budgets, labour costs, food costs and profitability.
- Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work independently and take responsibility for overall venue performance.
- A genuine passion for hospitality and customer service.
