Join a company in growth mode, helping to shape the next chapter of Tennant Mines
Tennant Mines is on an exciting journey as we continue to grow our operations and unlock the potential of one of Australia's historic mineral provinces.

- Manage grade control, geological modelling, reconciliation and orebody interpretation activities to support production and maximise resource value.
- Provide accurate geological information and technical advice to Mining, Processing and Technical Services teams to support operational decision making.
- Oversee geological systems, databases, QA/QC processes, contractors and budgets, ensuring work is delivered efficiently and to a high standard.
- Drive continuous improvement across geology processes, governance and reporting while maintaining compliance with statutory requirements and company standards.
What we're looking for
- Degree qualification in Geology, Earth Sciences or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated success establishing, improving and embedding geology systems and processes that deliver measurable operational outcomes.
- Proven experience leading geology teams and managing contractors.
- Strong capability in geological modelling, grade control, reconciliation and orebody interpretation in gold mining environments
- Advanced proficiency in Leapfrog, Deswik and geological databases, QA/QC systems and resource models.
Who will thrive in this role
We're looking for someone who combines strong technical capability with practical leadership and a collaborative approach.
You will be proactive, solutions-focused and comfortable working in a dynamic environment where priorities can shift and opportunities for improvement are encouraged. You'll enjoy developing people, building systems and partnering with operational leaders to deliver safe and sustainable results.
Most importantly, you'll bring a genuine commitment to safety, continuous improvement and helping build a high-performing culture.
