About the Opportunity

Are you a recent IT graduate or junior developer looking to launch your career in software development?

We're looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Graduate / Junior Software Developer to join our friendly development team in South Melbourne.

This is an excellent opportunity to build your technical skills, gain real-world experience and learn from experienced developers while contributing to software used by enterprise customers.

You'll have the opportunity to work across multiple technologies, including:

- Web Development: C#, .NET Framework and Blazor.

- Mobile Development: Cross-platform iOS and Android applications using .NET MAUI.

- Artificial Intelligence: AI-powered product features, Azure AI services and AI-assisted development tools.

- Database Technologies: Microsoft SQL Server and enterprise application architecture.

You won't be expected to know everything from day one. We're looking for someone with strong programming fundamentals, curiosity, problem-solving ability and a genuine passion for learning.

What You'll Be Doing

Working closely with our experienced development team, you will:

- Develop,



enhance and maintain enterprise web applications using C# and .NET.

- Contribute to modernising our existing application from .NET Framework to Blazor.

- Help build and maintain mobile applications for iOS and Android using .NET MAUI.

- Participate in developing and integrating AI-powered functionality into our software.

- Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code.

- Investigate software issues, troubleshoot defects and implement solutions.

- Work with databases, APIs and existing enterprise systems.

- Use modern AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity while maintaining code quality and security.

- Collaborate with developers, consultants and support teams to deliver solutions that meet customer needs.

- Continuously learn new technologies, development practices and industry trends.

What We're Looking For

Essential Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related discipline.

- Foundational knowledge of C#, .NET or object-oriented programming.

- Understanding of web development concepts and software development principles.

- Basic knowledge of relational databases and SQL.

- Interest in developing mobile applications.

- Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude, including the importance of reviewing and testing generated code.

- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.

- A proactive attitude, willingness to learn and adaptability to recent technologies.





Nice to Have (Not Essential)

Experience or exposure to any of the following would be an advantage:

- ASP.NET, .NET Framework or Blazor.

- .NET MAUI, Xamarin or other mobile development frameworks.

- Microsoft SQL Server.

- REST APIs and multi-tier application architecture.

- Azure services or cloud-based application development.

- AI/LLM integration, including Azure OpenAI, prompt engineering or API integration.

- Awareness of AI security, data privacy and responsible AI development.
