We are seeking experienced, reliable and hands-on Gyprockers / Plasterers to join our team for ongoing commercial building and retail fit-out projects throughout North Queensland. Based out of Brisbane, this opportunity will require travel to various regional project locations, with consistent work available for the right candidates.

Engagement: Flexible opportunities. ABN engagement preferred (competitive rates based on experience and trade qualifications).

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for skilled and experienced Gyprockers who are looking for consistent, ongoing work across multiple commercial projects throughout North Queensland.

Candidates must have strong practical experience across all aspects of gyprocking, including plasterboard installation, setting, flushing, sanding and finishing. The successful applicants will be expected to work independently and alongside other trades to ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely and to a high standard.

Candidates with proven commercial gyprocking and plastering experience are strongly encouraged to apply. Previous experience working on retail fit-outs, commercial construction or large-scale building projects will be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities

- Install plasterboard to walls, ceilings and other required surfaces.
- Complete setting, flushing, sanding and finishing to a high standard.
- Carry out repairs, patching and other plasterboard-related works.




- Read and interpret construction drawings and project requirements.
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail.
- Work collaboratively with site managers, project teams and other trades.
- Maintain site safety requirements and ensure work areas are kept clean and organised.
- Travel from Brisbane to various project locations throughout North Queensland.

Skills and Experience

- Proven experience as a Gyprocker, Plasterer or qualified tradesperson.
- Strong hands-on experience in plasterboard installation, setting, flushing and sanding is essential.
- Previous experience in commercial construction, retail fit-outs or large-scale building projects will be highly regarded.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider construction team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Willingness and availability to travel to North Queensland for ongoing projects.
- Valid White Card essential.
- Valid Driver's Licence essential.
- Own tools and relevant trade qualifications highly regarded.
