About the role
We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on Handyman / Labourer / Painter to join our team on a development project in Townsville, Bushland Beach. The role includes general site labouring, carrying out basic handyman tasks and preparing and painting storage containers.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and paint storage containers
- Carry out general labouring and basic handyman tasks around the development site
- Work alongside the lead hand and site manager
- Communicate with the director, contractors and other team members
- Assist with other site tasks as required
- Follow workplace health and safety requirements
Requirements
- Experience in painting, handyman work or general labouring
- Current White Card
- Able to prepare surfaces and paint containers to a positive standard
- Reliable, practical and safety-conscious
- Good communication skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
