About the opportunityOur client in Penrith is looking for an experienced Head Cook to take charge of their kitchen. If you love cooking fresh, nutritious meals and want a role where you can run your own kitchen and follow a varied monthly menu, this one is for you.

About the role

- Head Cook position, Monday to Friday
- 4–5 hours per day, 5 days a week
- Permanent part-time
- Plan and prepare meals from a rotating monthly menu
- Work in a well-stocked kitchen, so you can focus on cooking great food

What’s on offer

- Up to $35 per hour
- If you hold a relevant qualification, you can pick up extra hours on the floor in the afternoons




- Permanent full time is also available for the right person in a dual role
- Consistent weekday hours for a good work-life balance

About you

- Previous experience as a centre cook
- Able to plan and follow a set menu
- Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Organised, reliable and able to work on your own
- A relevant qualification is highly regarded (you’ll need it to pick up the afternoon floor hours)
