Key Responsibilities

Get hands-on in the workshop and see your skills grow as you work alongside our mechanics and senior technicians. You’ll tackle a variety of practical tasks, including:

- Build your skills in routine heavy vehicle servicing and maintenance
- Work alongside mechanics to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and other faults
- Get to know heavy vehicles inside and out as you help carry out comprehensive inspections
- Learn to keep accurate records of repairs, maintenance performed and parts used
- Assist senior technicians and put your learning into practice
- Care for the tools and equipment that help you get the job done
- Help keep the workshop clean and organised
- Pitch in with day-to-day workshop tasks as part of the service team

What you’ll bring





- A current driver’s licence. This is essential
- An eye for detail and pride in getting the job right
- A reliable approach
- Solid communication skills to connect with your teammates
- The ability to work independently and contribute as part of a team

Apprenticeship Details: Build practical skills and work towards a qualification you can be proud of: a Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology.
