Lee's Transport is a proudly family-owned and operated transport company based in Naval Base, Western Australia. We specialise in general freight and heavy haulage, operating a fleet of American trucks, predominantly Kenworth and Mack.

We're looking for an experienced Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic to join our team and help keep our fleet running safely and efficiently. If you're a hands-on mechanic who enjoys variety, knows their way around American trucks and prefers working in a down-to-earth, family-run workplace, we'd like to hear from you!

The Role

This isn't a workshop where you'll be doing the same job day in, day out.

You'll be working across our fleet of prime movers and trailers, with a good mix of servicing, repairs, diagnostics and general mechanical work.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- Servicing, maintaining and repairing Kenworth and Mack prime movers.

- Working with Cummins ISX engines.

- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults.

- Engine, transmission, suspension and brake repairs.

- Preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing.

- General trailer maintenance and repairs.

- Troubleshooting breakdowns and completing repairs.

- Working independently and as part of a small, supportive team.

Every day brings something different, so you'll need to be comfortable getting stuck into whatever needs doing.

What We're Looking For

Ideally, you'll have:





- Trade qualifications as a Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic.

- Experience working on American trucks, particularly Kenworth and Mack.

- Sound knowledge of Cummins ISX engines.

- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities.

- Experience with heavy vehicle servicing, repairs and maintenance.

- A practical, can-do attitude and good problem-solving skills.

- The ability to work independently and take pride in your work.

- A current driver's licence (HR/HC/MC advantageous).
