About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Horticulture Apprentice to join our team in Orange, NSW.
This full time apprenticeship is ideal for someone who is passionate about plants, landscaping and outdoor design and wants to begin a career in horticulture. Working alongside experienced professionals, you will develop practical skills across horticulture and landscaping while completing a formal qualification.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with planting and maintaining gardens, landscaped areas and outdoor spaces.
- Learn techniques for soil preparation, plant selection and landscape installation.
- Undertake watering, weeding, pruning and general plant care under supervision.
- Operate and maintain gardening tools and equipment safely.
- Develop knowledge of plant species, growing conditions and seasonal care.
