About the Opportunity
HPS Pharmacies is looking for a Hospital Pharmacy Technician to join our team at HPS Gold Coast in a permanent full-time position.
This role will have a strong focus on inventory and stock management, helping ensure the pharmacy and hospital has the right medications and supplies available when they are needed.
It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys organisation, problem solving and working behind the scenes to keep a busy pharmacy running smoothly.
What You’ll Be Doing
Working closely with our pharmacists and pharmacy team, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing pharmacy stock and inventory
- Ordering, receiving and replenishing medications and pharmacy supplies
- Monitoring stock levels and maintaining appropriate inventory levels
- Managing stock rotation and expiry dates
- Supporting stocktakes and inventory reconciliation
- Investigating and resolving stock discrepancies
- Maintaining accurate inventory records
- Supporting imprest and ward stock requirements
- Working with pharmacists and hospital teams to ensure reliable medication supply
- Supporting general pharmacy operations as required
About You
We’re looking for someone who is organised, reliable and takes pride in getting the details right.
You’ll bring
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- Confidence working with stock and inventory systems
- Valuable communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive approach to identifying and resolving stock issues
- The ability to prioritise effectively in a busy workplace
- A collaborative approach and willingness to support the wider pharmacy team
Hospital pharmacy experience would be valuable, but importantly, we’re looking for someone who has a strong interest in inventory management and keeping pharmacy operations running efficiently.
