About us:
Located just minutes from Parramatta CBD and directly across from Rosehill Racecourse, our hotel serves a diverse mix of business and leisure travelers. As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will play a vital role in our daily operations by ensuring exceptional guest service and maintaining the highest cleaning standards.
Your role:
- Clean, service and prepare guest rooms to ensure they meet the hotel's cleanliness and presentation standards.
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of public areas, including the lobby, corridors, lifts, restrooms and other shared guest facilities.
- Perform Houseperson duties, including distributing linen, towels, amenities and housekeeping supplies throughout the hotel.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, including additional amenities and housekeeping assistance.
- Identify and report maintenance issues, damaged equipment and potential safety hazards.
- Follow hotel cleaning procedures,
hygiene standards and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Work collaboratively with the housekeeping team to ensure smooth and productive daily operations.
What we’re looking for:
- A proactive, responsible, and adaptable attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Previous experience in a housekeeping or similar role in the hospitality industry.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
- A commitment to workplace safety and compliance standards.
- Professional personal presentation and grooming.
- Valid working rights in Australia.
