We’re looking for casual housekeepers to join our team at Surf Hotel, one of Torquay’s newest boutique hotels.

With summer just around the corner, it’s a great time to join our friendly team in a beautiful beachfront location.

We’re looking for reliable, enthusiastic people with an eye for detail who take pride in creating a great guest experience.

Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not essential.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

-Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience

-Knowledge of WHS and responsibilities

-Great people and communication skills with an eye for detail

RESPONSIBILITIES

-Provide exceptional customer service and enhance guest experience

-Opening/closing of facilities

-Provide guests with local recommendations,



tours and activities

-Daily cleaning of hotel rooms and common areas including, restaurant reception, office, laundry, wellness space

-Ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained throughout the hotel

-Complete room cleaning duties within allocated timeframes, while maintaining

-Surf Hotel’s standards of quality and presentation.

-Restock cleaning products and linen daily

-Report any maintenance issues to Hotel Manager

-Follow all work health and safety procedures

-Responding to safety and security issues

-Maintain a skilled and helpful attitude towards guests and team

-Perform any other duties as assigned by Hotel Manager or General Manager
