Langs Building Supplies is a family owned and operated business, who for more than 50 years, has been supplying a full range of quality building products to our customers.

An opportunity has become available for the services of an experienced and qualified HR licensed truck driver for delivery of building supplies to building sites. CV, C2 or C6 crane licence is highly desirable but not essential – paid training provided for the right applicant. We are seeking a self-motivated, hard-working person to join our team. Must have a Construction Blue/White card, be physically fit and be able to pass a Drug & Alcohol test. IMMEDIATE START an advantage.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

· Deliver goods to the correct site in a timely manner

· Pick up goods from Customers and Suppliers when requested

· Ensure all relevant paperwork is completed and taken with delivery

· Obtain signatures from customers as requested for proof of delivery





· Take transparent and relevant photos of all drops and record any damage that may occur in transit

· Report any issues to Management immediately

· Relate customer complaints to Management promptly

· Some heavy lifting required.

The successful applicant will have the following attributes:

· Experience with the delivery of building materials is preferable

· Able to follow procedures

· Punctual and reliable

· Excellent work ethic

· Ability to work unsupervised

· Good communication skills
