WestOz Trades is a Perth air conditioning business made up of 20+ genuinely good humans. We hire right, not rapid. Air conditioning is our foundation, and now we’re pushing hard into commercial and refrigeration. We want techs who’ll grow into that space with us and help shape what it becomes.

Right now we’re after a Motivated Service Technician who wants a career, not just a job.

What you’ll earn

- $55 to $60 per hour starting rate (around $108k to $118k base), depending on skill and experience
- Profit per hour incentive, paid Monthly on top of your rate. Work smart, deliver quality, and your pay goes up with it
- Permanent full time role with a clear path upward as we grow

The work

Right now our work runs from residential through to bigger commercial jobs, with more commercial and refrigeration coming on every month. We’re warranty agents for Hisense, Midea and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries,



so you’ll be doing real diagnostics and complex fault finding, not just filter cleans.

Day to day you’ll be:

- Diagnosing faults using manufacturer guidelines and proper troubleshooting
- Carrying out quality repairs with the right parts and long term fixes
- Servicing across all makes and models, and having the ability to increase efficiency of systems on site
- Owning your jobs, managing your time and keeping clients in the loop
- Mentoring apprentices and helping the next generation come through
- Working closely with our Service Manager and office team

Whether you love service, deep fault finding, or teaching apprentices, we’ll shape the role around your strengths.

Ideally you have

- 2+ years post-trade experience
- Cert III in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (or overseas equivalent)
- ARCtick refrigerant licence
- Restricted Electrical Licence (WA)
- Current driver’s licence
- Strong diagnostic skills, ideally with warranty or experience
- Commercial or refrigeration experience a big plus
- Pride in your workmanship and an eye for detail
- Reliability. You show up when you say you will and pick up the phone
- A genuine drive to keep getting better
