About The Chance
Step into a key role keeping Melbourne’s essential infrastructure running smoothly. With council work on the rise,
we’re looking for a capable and motivated Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration Technician to join this high-performing team. A keen 4th year apprentice looking to take the next step in their career is also welcome to apply.
Reporting directly to the Service Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Servicing government and commercial sites across Melbourne
- Communicating professionally with clients and site supervisors
- Carrying out preventative maintenance and diagnosing faults
- Handling compliance documentation and following site-specific safety procedures
- Maintaining and repairing Mechanical HVAC systems, including Central Plants, Package Units and Split Systems
About You You’ll bring solid technical ability, a proactive attitude and strong communication skills. To be successful, you will need:
- Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
- Current D Grade Electrical Permit
- Current Refrigerant Handling Licence and Victorian Driver’s Licence
- White or Red OH&S; Card and Working at Heights Certification
- Valid Police Check and Working With Children Check (mandatory)
- A positive, self-driven approach with a strong focus on customer service
