THE ROLE: Working under the guidance of a Senior Accountant and Partner, you will manage a portfolio of small to medium business and private clients.
- Prepare financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals
- Complete BAS, IAS and FBT lodgements
- Prepare workpapers and complete reconciliations to a high standard
- Handle day to day client queries and build your own relationships
- Support tax planning and assist with preparing advice for clients
- Take on increasingly complex work, including Div 7A and CGT, as your skills develop
THE INDIVIDUAL:
- CA or CPA qualified, or currently working towards it
- 2 to 3 years’ experience in Australian public practice
- Sound technical knowledge with a genuine interest in tax
- Confident communicating with clients and asking questions when needed
- Organised, reliable and comfortable managing your own deadlines
