We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Internal Sales / Customer Service Officer to join our friendly and supportive Port Melbourne team.

About the Role

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service while supporting sales and operational activities across the business.

Key Responsibilities

- Process customer sales orders, purchase orders, and associated documentation
- Serve as the first point of contact for customer enquiries via phone and email
- Manage and maintain customer accounts and records
- Support the sales team with quotations, follow-ups, and sales enquiries
- Establish new customer accounts and maintain accurate database information
- Provide administrative support to the broader business
- Assist with warehouse coordination and logistics when required
- Manage the sales counter and conduct product demonstrations




- Work closely with the Operations and Sales Managers to identify and implement process improvements

About You To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- Previous experience in an Internal Sales, Customer Service, or Sales Support role
- Strong customer service skills with a genuine desire to help customers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- Experience using Microsoft Dynamics (highly regarded but not essential)
- Ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- Current driver's licence (preferred)
