Job Title: Logistics & Inventory Manager

ESK Care is an evidence-based, doctor-led cosmeceutical brand distributed DTC and via medi-spas across Australia, the UK and beyond. We’re growing quick and need a true operator to build a logistics machine that keeps our promises to customers: products that work, delivered quickly and reliably.

Role Summary

You will own the end-to-end flow of physical product: from component and packaging purchase orders, through manufacturing and warehousing, into Cin7 and Shopify, and out to customers and clinics via our 3PL partners. Your job is simple to say, hard to do: every order, on time, in full, at a healthy margin.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory & Procurement

- Own demand planning and purchasing for core and non-core products, bottles, and packaging, factoring 3–5 month lead times and promo calendar.
- Set and maintain min/max levels, safety stock, and reorder points for all SKUs.
- Manage POs end-to-end: raise, approve, track, and reconcile deliveries and invoices.

Systems & Data (Cin7 / Shopify / 3PL)

- Own Cin7 configuration, item master data, locations, and workflows.
- Ensure clean, reliable integrations between Cin7, Shopify, 3PL and any clinic/wholesale systems.
- Implement and run regular reconciliations (stock on hand vs Cin7, orders vs shipments, etc.).

Fulfillment & 3PL Management

- Manage daily order flow and SLAs with warehouse / 3PL partners for DTC and clinic orders.
- Monitor and improve picking, packing, and dispatch performance and accuracy.
- Create and enforce SOPs for exceptions (backorders, partials, damages, returns).

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

- Build and own a weekly logistics dashboard including:
- OTIF rate, order-to-ship time,



stockout days per A SKU, inventory accuracy, damage/mispick rate, cost per order.
- Identify bottlenecks and lead projects to reduce cost, improve speed, and increase reliability.
- Run regular reviews with suppliers and partners using data-driven scorecards.

Success Metrics (first 6–12 months)

- ≥ 97% of orders shipped on time and in full.
- ≥ 90% of DTC orders shipped within 1 business day.
- 50% reduction in stockout days on top A SKUs.
- ≥ 98% inventory accuracy on cycle counts.
- 10–15% reduction in average freight + fulfillment cost per order.
- Damaged / incorrect shipments under 0.5% of orders.

Requirements

- 3–5+ years in logistics / supply chain / operations for ecommerce or FMCG physical products.
- Hands-on experience with an inventory management system (Cin7 ideal, or similar like DEAR/Unleashed/NetSuite) plus Shopify or another ecommerce platform.
- Proven track record improving OTIF, inventory accuracy, and cost per order, with numbers you can talk through.
- Strong Excel/Sheets skills and comfort with building simple dashboards and reports.
- Experience managing 3PLs and/or warehouses, including SLAs and performance reviews.
- Process thinker: able to map workflows, design SOPs, and get teams and vendors to follow them.

Nice to Have

- Experience in beauty, skincare, or regulated consumer products.
- Experience across multiple countries or regions (e.g. AU, UK, US).
- Familiarity with clinic / wholesale + DTC hybrid models.
