About FivePearlsFivePearls Funds Management is an Australian property funds manager offering wholesale investors access to a suite of income and growth funds. We run a lean team, and fund administration (fund accounting, unit pricing and the investor registry) is handled in-house. That means you’ll see how a fund works end to end, not just one slice of it.

The roleYou’ll be the first point of contact for our investors, answering their questions and keeping their experience smooth from onboarding through to distributions. You’ll work closely with our investor relations, operations and fund accounting functions, and you’ll learn how a fund actually runs: how investments are processed, how unit pricing and distributions are calculated, and how compliance obligations are met.

What you’ll do

- Support investor onboarding, including application processing and AML/CTF and identity verification checks
- Process and reconcile investor transactions in our fund registry, working with the fund accounting team
- Keep investor records accurate, including investors who hold through multiple entities such as SMSFs, companies and trusts
- Handle inbound investor calls and emails: account queries, applications, redemptions, distributions and reporting requests
- Prepare and distribute investor statements, distribution notices and tax documents
- Support the team with capital calls,

About youEssential

- A degree in finance, commerce, economics or a related field
- Experience in a phone-based client service role, ideally with a large financial services organisation
- Operations experience, such as transaction processing, reconciliations, registry or back-office work
- Strong attention to detail and comfort working with data and spreadsheets
- Transparent, calm and professional communication with investors, including when a query is sensitive
- Sound judgement, and the integrity that comes with handling investor money and personal information

Desirable

- Familiarity with managed funds, unit registries or investor onboarding
- Knowledge of the wholesale investor framework and AML/CTF obligations
- Experience working with SMSF and other entity-based investors
