About the Project The Kidston Pumped Storage Hydro Project is a 250 MW pumped hydro energy storage facility located in Kidston, Queensland. The project involves transforming two former gold-mine pits into upper and lower reservoirs, providing up to 2,000 MWh (8 hours) of dispatchable renewable energy.

This innovative project will play an important role in supporting Australia's transition to a more sustainable energy future.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Site Services Technician to join our Kidston Pumped Storage Hydro Project team in Queensland.

In this hands-on role, you will provide essential onsite and remote IT support, maintain critical technology systems and support the day-to-day IT requirements of the project.

Working closely with our IT Site Services Team, you will ensure reliable technical support across the project while contributing to the successful delivery of this significant renewable energy infrastructure development.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 IT support, including troubleshooting, configuration and maintenance of hardware, software and end-user devices.
- Support IT site setup, equipment deployment, ongoing maintenance and project mobilisation and demobilisation activities.
- Manage IT service requests, asset registers and support queues using Freshservice.
- Coordinate IT equipment procurement, vendor engagement and purchasing documentation.
- Collaborate with internal IT teams and project stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure compliance with company IT standards.
- Provide effective handovers between FIFO roster rotations to ensure continuity of IT services.

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:





- Minimum 3 years' experience providing Level 1 and Level 2 IT support within an enterprise environment.
- Sound technical knowledge of IT hardware, software, enterprise networking and troubleshooting.
- Experience or understanding of delivering IT support within remote or challenging project environments.
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities and contribute to a collaborative team.
- Relevant IT qualifications or certifications, with ITIL V4 Foundation highly regarded
